bookmarks gone!

Its gotta be only the last couple of days. Now I found my bookmarks bar disabled. I enabled it, and nothing was showing up. I restarted Opera and it still had nothing there.

I am all synced up, checked desktop and phone and both had no bookmarks anymore.

Is anyone else also missing this recently and how can we recover this? Does Opera save a copy somewhere?

@leocg checked, but nope. Not there. All gone from both synced mobile phone and desktop
